Day 1: Nairobi - Maasai Mara National Reserve Safari Trip
You will depart from the capital of Kenya, Nairobi, and be driven down the escarpment through the floor of the Great Rift Valley; arriving at the Mara Sarova Game Lodge in time for lunch.
The luxury tented camp is located in a natural setting where you stay in permanent tents with double beds and en-suite bathrooms with flush toilets, washbasin, and hot showers. These spacious tents are fitted with mosquito nets and have private verandas for relaxing in the bush.
After lunch, you will take your first thrilling game drive in the Maasai Mara Game Reserve. The Mara is East Africa’s top safari destination that includes incredible, wide-open landscapes and fertile riverine woodlands following the looping meanders of the Mara and Talek Rivers, in Kenya. One glimpse is enough to explain its appeal; it is typical open savannah with a mass of amazing wildlife. You will return to camp for dinner and relax under the stars, falling asleep to the sounds of the bush.

Day 2: Maasai Mara Game Reserve Wildlife discovery
After breakfast you will take off for a full day game drive in search of Africa’s “Big Five” and the plethora of other wildlife inhabiting this vast Kenyan game reserve. Wildlife you will see include giraffe, baboon, warthog, bat-eared fox, grey jackal, spotted hyena, topi, impala, hartebeest, wildebeest, elephant, buffalo, zebra, and hippo. Lions are easily seen either basking after a heavy meal or surveying the plains for their next meal.

- Cheetah and leopard are harder to spot but are reasonably common with a sharp eye. Hot-air balloon trips are a unique way to view the savannah plains teeming with wildlife and can be organized at an extra cost. The ultimate action is, without doubt, the annual wildebeest migration in July/August; when millions of the animals move north from the Serengeti in search of greener grass before turning south again in October. Later in the evening, you will return to camp for dinner and your overnight stay.

Day 3: Maasai Mara Game reserve - Nairobi - Airport drop off
You will rise early, have breakfast, and then check-out and depart camp. You will take part in your final morning game drive through the Maasai Mara Game Reserve. You will then return to Nairobi, arriving by late afternoon. This is where your safari will end with an airport drop-off.
