4-Day Premium Maasai Mara Lake Naivasha Camping Safari

You’ll be picked from the airport. Accommodation before the tour starts can be arranged for an extra cost.

We will collect you from your Hotel in Nairobi or the Jomo Kenyatta International airport [ JKIA] and drive on the floor of the great rift valley arriving in Maasai Mara in good time for lunch. Experience your first Safari game drive late afternoon [typically 3.30pm] during which you explore the surrounding parts of the Mara and see its amazing wildlife.

Full day in Maasai Mara. Enjoy an early morning game drive before breakfast. Most animals are active at this time of the day and you, therefore, are likely to see plenty of games. Return to the camp for a relaxed breakfast.

You may schedule a visit to a nearby Maasai Village with the Camp Manager – this, typically one hour visit provides a fascinating insight into the day to day life of the famous Kenyan tribe, the nomadic Maasai. You also get to see their unique mud dwellings – the Manyatta huts. Return to the camp for lunch.

Overnight stay at Mara Serena Camp – Maasai Mara or any of similar. Enjoy an afternoon safari into the reserve. Return to the camp by evening [ typically 6 to 6.30 pm] in time for a relaxed evening, followed by dinner.

Early morning sunrise breakfast game viewing in the park to increase your chances to view the sunrise within the Mara and to view the lionesses and their cubs having breakfast as a family after a night hunting.
Return to the camp for breakfast and later exit for Lake Naivasha with Lunch served en-route
You will have lunch and leisure break at the lodge then return for an evening game drive where the landscape is dominated by the glistening majestic snow cap of Kilimanjaro a fitting backdrop to a wild region where the pastoral Masai and their cattle have lived in harmony with wild creatures for many centuries.

The journey shall continue to Lake Naivasha only to arrive in the evening around 15:00 hrs, spend the rest of the day relaxing or visit Hells gate National Reserve.
This is the only reserve in Kenya where you can enjoy game viewing while on a Bicycle or by walking in the park between the wildlife (grass-eating animals).

If time allows and you are interested, take an optional activity such boat ride in this freshwater lake. It will grant you a chance to view the aquatic life such as hippos and other bird species that have been recorded in this natural habitat. The rest of the evening will end at your preferred accommodation here is booked on a full board basis.

This is our last day in Amboseli National Park. We will enjoy an early short morning game drive in search of the big games once more, probably just to say pick some wilderness greetings back home:)
After breakfast have a nature walk in the Hell’s Gate National Park (that is if on day 4 you did not visit the hell’s gate National park).

Otherwise, there are optional activities like horse ride if you are a fan, there are over 100 species of birds in the park, including vultures, Verreaux’s Eagles, Augur Buzzard, and Swifts. African Buffalo, Zebra, Eland, Hartebeest, Thomson’s gazelle, and baboons are also common.
The park is a photographer’s paradise destination blessed with a prolific birdlife of up to over 600 species especially in the vicinity of the Lakes and Swampy areas.

The park is also home to Klipspringer Antelope and Chanler’s Mountain Reedbuck–enjoy hot or picnic lunches and later drive back to Nairobi arriving in the afternoon. Drop back to Nairobi hotel or Airport for your next destination.
